Kane County Hospital is showcasing Peggy Esplin’s art for the month of December. We will be hosting our, “Healing Arts” reception Thursday, December 12, at 5:00 pm in the hospital lobby.
Esplin’s art is done in several mediums but her primary love is evident in her pencil portraits. As a self-taught artist her work evolved into her own genuine style. Peggy’s unique pencil style has resulted in “work that is photographically intense, in the deep contrasts of black on white.”
Peggy was born and raised in Safford, Arizona. She married Israel Esplin in 2002 and now lives in Orderville. Peggy was so excited for the opportunity to show her art once again. It is perfect for this holiday season. “I am now 85 and have not been in the business for many years. This show represents many bygone years. I appreciate this opportunity for ‘one last show.’”
KCH’s Healing Arts reception is open to the public. We have been hosting local artists for 16 years and the exquisite talent in our area still amazes me. Please plan on joining us.
