8/17/09: Mike Aldridge Major USMC Retired
On 8 August, I while on vacation at the Grand Canyon North Rim Lodge, experienced a medical condition that, while not an emergency, I considered to require immediate attention. With help of the Ranger staff we identified Kane County Hospital as the closest medical facility open on Saturday. My wife and I then drove the hour and a half to the Kane County Hospital Emergency Room. We found the staff to be most helpful and were seen by Doctor Nelson, diagnosed, prescribed medicine, and discharged within an hour. I was impressed by your staff, facility and kindness shown during this unexpected deviation of my vacation.
